How much water should I drink on GLP-1?

This calculator gives a general fluid starting range based on weight, activity and conditions. It is not a fixed requirement and it is not specific to Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound or another medicine. Your clinician’s advice takes priority, especially if you have a fluid restriction.

Does all of my hydration have to come from plain water?

No. Total fluid can include water, milk, tea, coffee, other beverages and water-rich foods. Personal tolerance, nutrition needs and any medical restrictions still matter; the calculator is not telling you which drink to choose.

Why does the calculator ask about exercise and heat?

Activity, heat and sweating can change fluid needs, so the estimate makes those adjustments explicit. The additions are broad educational assumptions and should not be used as a replacement for an individualized sports or medical hydration plan.

Can GLP-1 side effects affect hydration?

Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea can make it harder to keep fluids down. If symptoms are severe, persistent, or you cannot keep fluids down, contact your healthcare professional promptly rather than trying to solve the situation with a calculator.
